It’s that time! Time to take a look into one more of our favorite Disney Resort Collection hotels through our planDisney Pocket Guide series. For this one, relax as we are headed to the Caribbean Islands, via Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. This small piece of paradise transports you to a resort that captures the essence of five islands: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad, and Aruba. Located in the Disney’s Hollywood Studios resort area, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is only a Disney Skyliner ride away from your favorite theme parks. Complimentary bus transportation is also available to the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs.
Buccaneers young and old will enjoy a stay in the resort’s pirate-themed rooms. These rooms come with two double beds and a variety of view options. And if your crew needs a break from their pirate life, beautiful standard rooms are also available. Room offerings include king bed standard rooms or two queen beds rooms! When booking your stay here, be sure to ask about the preferred rooms which are close in proximity to Fuentes del Morro Pool and Centertown.

Let’s not forget dining at this resort and let’s start with one of our favorite dinner spots … Sebastian’s Bistro. This restaurant is located near Fuentes del Morro Pool and specializes in family-style dishes complete with rich Latin and Caribbean flavors. Our panelists also love the Centertown Market located at Old Port Royale. Here guests will find breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The cuisine offered here is American, as well as Latin, and guests may use Mobile Order at this location!
planDisney Tip: Make sure your swashbucklers don’t miss the Fuentes del Morro Pool!
Themed like a colonial Spanish fortress, this pool includes two waterslides and man-of-war cannons that release a refreshing water spray throughout the day. Little ones will love splashing in the play area that has mini slides, a crow’s nest and a barrel of laughs that will have your little ones cheering for more while enjoying a drenching downpour! Please note that guests must be 48” or under to enjoy the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area.
