Disney Store Times Square: New Arrivals, Exclusives, and Events

There’s something special about discovering Disney magic where you least expect it, like surrounded by taxis, towering buildings, and theatregoers right in the middle of Times Square.

New York City has countless sights to see, with iconic spots like the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, or the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but any Disney fan in the city should have Disney Store Times Square on their list of must-visit destinations.

I shared my experience shopping at Disney Store Times Square during the holiday season, and am excited to now have a space for anyone browsing Disney Parks Blog to discover all the details about the store’s new product arrivals, upcoming events, and more.

Disney Store Times Square is located in the heart of Manhattan, just steps from the Great White Way, so it is easily accessible if you’re seeing a show (bonus points if it is a current Disney on Broadway production).

The two-story space is full of enchantment everywhere you look with overflowing shelves of products, immersive displays, and friendly cast members bringing the spirit of Disney to the Big Apple.

Walking into the store feels like stepping out of the concrete jungle and into a storybook – you are immediately transported to a world where familiar characters and stories meet the creativity and charm of NYC.

Classic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plush embrace their status as city symbols, and you can find iconography like pretzels, taxis, and even some of those quintessential landmarks I mentioned across merchandise.

Disney Store Times Square is more than a regular retail space or a way to keep the magic alive between vacations; it is a one-of-a-kind celebration of Disney storytelling in one of the world’s most iconic, fast-paced places. For fans (like me) looking to blend their love of both Disney and New York City, this is truly the perfect place to shop.

Disney Store Times Square is leveling up for a thrilling in-store experience to celebrate the launch of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, and you’re invited to assemble your squad and join the fun!

There’s an action-packed day planned, with those in attendance receiving welcome decks upon entry and a special promo card available with purchase of Magic product – the perfect takeaways for dedicated players or anyone newly discovering the world of Magic: The Gathering. If you fall into the latter category, Learn to Play tables will be set up in the store with knowledgeable hosts available to assist with demos, so you’ll be an enthusiastic expert in no time.

And the welcome decks, which include cards that have already been revealed, are a beginner-friendly format that makes it easy to play right out of the box, so no need to worry about building an entire set if you are just getting started.

Throughout the day, there will even be opportunities to meet artists David Polabo and Jim Cheung, who designed components of the card collection, during postcard signing sessions from 10 a.m – 9 p.m. in the upstairs gazebo.

Stop in to enjoy the festivities on Friday, June 19 during regular store hours, ahead of the full set’s official release on June 26. Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes is available for preorder now from your local game store, TCGplayer, Amazon, and elsewhere Magic is sold.

NYC Snow Globes

Snow globes are always one of my favorite souvenirs to shop for when I’m traveling – it’s so fun to display them at home and be reminded of all the places I’ve been.

These mini snow globes are the perfect way to commemorate your next trip to NYC, showing Minnie Mouse as Lady Liberty and Mickey Mouse soaking up the city, both surrounded by sparkling gold glitter.

If you’re an avid pin trader and collector, the Times Square exclusive enamel pins are definitely the first item you should have on your wish list. The Minnie Mouse as Lady Liberty Pin depicts this icon against a shimmering blue background studded with stars, her torch held high. And the Mickey Mouse Marathon Pin showing Mickey alongside the sunny skyline is another favorite of mine!

I’m looking forward to seeing these pins (and many others) at the Retro Pin Event being held at Disney Store Times Square later this month.

Disney Wishables Shimmer New York City Series

I’ve been a longtime lover of Wishables, so as soon as I saw these ones exclusive to Disney Store Times Square start to go viral on TikTok, I knew I needed to secure a box (or several).

The mystery boxes contain one of five mini plush variants, including Mickey Mouse (holding a hot dog, of course), Minnie Mouse as Lady Liberty, a classic yellow taxicab, an apple (wearing a Mickey Mouse Ear Hat), and a pizza slice (my personal favorite NYC symbol and food item).

Maybe mini mystery plush aren’t your style, but perhaps these Mickey Mouse ”I ❤️NY” and Minnie Mouse “Lady Liberty” plush are more your speed.

Lady Liberty Minnie Mouse is one of the most popular products sold at Disney Store Times Square, and naturally I think you should take Mickey Mouse (who is dressed for a day exploring the city) home as well to complete this perfect pairing.
