Organizing your pumpkin-filled plans to attend this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash? While I usually love seeing iconic characters like Baymax and Iron Man during the daytime, I have to admit that there is something extra special when Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party starts to creep up on the calendar and some of the most wicked Disney characters come out to play.
As part of the separately ticketed, after-hours event on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026, a spine-chilling squad of iconic Disney characters (and some rarely-seen favorites) will cause plenty of mischievous fun for guests of all ages across Disney California Adventure park, whether you’re dressed as a poised princess, a galactic defender, or a fearless Super Hero.

Yet another special surprise is in store this year: Yzma from Disney Animation’s The Emperor’s New Groove will be stirring up some mischievous mayhem in Grizzly Peak, delighting guests with her clever potion-making capabilities and “pulling every lever” she can find in pursuit of her latest scheme.

Ready for a grim, grinning good time that can only be found during Oogie Boogie Bash? At this year’s event, be on the lookout for familiar and iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion on the streets of California Adventure during an all-new street party.
During this festive street party, select characters from Haunted Mansion will begin to materialize, as swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers, and a trio of hitchhiking ghosts get ready for a swinging wake with silly spooks and ghoulish delight. Look alive and come out to socialize!
