Inside The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge: A New Dining Experience at Disney Adventure World

A new era of adventure awaits at Disneyland Paris as Disney Adventure World invites guests to experience its bold new stories and immersive worlds. Among the newest additions is The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a dining destination that blends elegant design, elevated cuisine, and royal storytelling into a truly distinctive experience.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to sample both the lounge offerings and the table service restaurant, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a place designed to be savored.

The Regal View Lounge and Restaurant

Located along Adventure Way, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge draws inspiration from Art nouveau, with graceful lines, refined details, and an atmosphere that felt both timeless and welcoming.

The location offers two distinct dining experiences under one roof. On one side, the lounge welcomes guests looking to relax with specialty drinks and shareable bites. Meanwhile, the other offers a more formal experience during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, where a three-course meal unfolds alongside visits from Disney Princesses in a setting that felt genuinely fit for royalty.

Beautiful Views and Artwork in The Regal View Lounge

To begin our culinary journey, we stepped into the lounge side, the first of its kind located inside either of the parks at Disneyland Paris. What immediately captured our attention was the sweeping views across Adventure Bay, with World of Frozen rising beautifully on the horizon beyond the windows.

Inside, the space feels inviting and intimate, layered in rich hues of navy blue, burnt orange, and mustard yellow, all balanced by warm wooden accents throughout.

Subtle royal details are thoughtfully woven into the design, from charming portraits of beloved Disney sidekicks to a stunning hand-painted mosaic of Sleeping Beauty Castle showcased behind the bar. That mosaic quickly became one of our favorite details, mirroring the iconic castle that greets guests in Disneyland Park.

Around the room, the wallpaper adds another layer of storytelling, featuring elegant trees inspired by Sleeping Beauty, rooted both in the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic and the castle itself. Completing the space, a large portrait of The Regal View anchors the room, serving as a striking reflection of the artistry behind this new dining destination.

Lounge Kirs

Let’s Begin with a Kir

It was time to begin sipping, starting with a selection of seasonal Royal Kirs, a choice that felt perfectly at home at Disneyland Paris. A Kir Royal is a traditional French cocktail, typically made with champagne and crème de cassis, a blackcurrant liqueur, and it has long been enjoyed across France.

From April through June, the lounge offers four Kirs Royal variations, each putting a creative twist on the classic while honoring its French roots. These include combinations featuring Pierre Mignon Grande Reserve Champagne, exclusive to Disneyland Paris, paired with blackberry cream and apple, peach liqueur with mint leaf, or violet liqueur accented with a pansy flower, as well as a nonalcoholic sparkling rosé blended with pineapple syrup and pineapple.

Lounge Drinks

We also were able to sample three of the lounge’s signature cocktails, each one distinct and thoughtfully presented. Princely Eden leans bright and refreshing, blending white rum with pear and passion fruit nectars, kombucha, sparkling sugar, and a hint of green apple, finished with fruity jelly and a delicate pansy flower.

Ruby Diadem offers a richer profile, combining hibiscus tea, guava drink, coconut purée, pomegranate syrup, coconut emulsion, and crispy raspberry for a layered and indulgent sip. Rounding out the tasting, Enchanted Carriage delivers warmth and comfort, blending herbal tea, caramelized almonds and cinnamon with apple juice and maple syrup for a cocktail that felt cozy and enchanting.

For bites, we enjoyed a mosaic of delicate tea sandwiches with smoked salmon sandwich bread, fish rillettes, cucumber, wasabi cream and omelet, and designed to complement the drinks. We also sampled all four of the caramelized puff pastries created to pair with the seasonal Royal Kirs, adding a buttery, lightly sweet element that rounded out the lounge experience.

Disney Princesses and Fine Details in the Dining Room

From there, we transitioned to the restaurant side, where the experience began well before ever stepping into the dining room itself. Behind the host desk, nine delicately designed plates immediately caught the eye, each one representing a Disney Princess.

These exquisite pieces were crafted by Royal Delft, the renowned Dutch earthenware manufacturer and official supplier to the Dutch royal family, setting an unmistakable tone of craftsmanship and elegance from the very beginning.

As we continued down the hallway, we noticed portraits of Disney Princesses lining the walls, subtly foreshadowing the experience ahead. On either side of the space stood two striking vases inspired by Mulan and Tiana.

Inside the dining room, our first impression was its unmistakable sense of grandeur. Delicate details drew the eye from floor to ceiling, including elegant valances framing the windows, each embroidered with an “RV” monogram while Art nouveau–style lamps cast a warm, ambient glow throughout the room. The carpet, woven with floral motifs, made the space feel grounded, bringing richness and cohesion to the room.

Murals depicting Disney Princesses and Queens also lined the walls, adding a layer of storytelling. The experience was further elevated by sweeping views of Adventure Bay, with World of Frozen unfolding just beyond the windows.

Enjoying First Course Offerings Inside The Regal View Restaurant

Our meal began with a taste of the restaurant’s two signature beverages. The Orchard Whisper was delicious, offering a crisp, refreshing blend of white wine, apple juice, elderflower liqueur, and verjuice for a bright and balanced first sip.

The Floral Whisper leans into softer, more aromatic notes, combining hibiscus and green tea with apple juice, raspberry, and blackcurrant flavors for a drink that felt delicate.

After that, two first course offerings were brought to our table, presenting freshness and balance. The Swiss salad features a medley of raw and pickled fruits and vegetables, paired with Grisons cured beef, Tête de Moine cheese, pine nuts, and a raspberry vinegar dressing that tied everything together beautifully.

Alternatively, the avocado and ginger mousse provides a softer contrast, complemented by mango tartare, pumpkin seed crumble, and a creamy dill oil sauce that added both richness and a subtle herbal lift.

The Main Course at Regal View Offers Delightful BitesFor the second course(which also serves as the main), two standout dishes were presented. The gilthead seabream was prepared with a fragrant kaffir lime and vanilla sauce, accompanied by silky sweet potato purée and tender braised bok choy. Alongside it, a North African-style roast guinea fowl with dried fruits and lemon confit.

Putting the Cherry on Top with a Regal View Dessert

Dessert, the most anticipated course, arrived as a trio of beautifully executed, royal-inspired creations. The vanilla ganache mousse cake features a bright raspberry insert and a crispy praline base reminiscent of a storybook, finished with the iconic “RV” emblem.

A white chocolate mousse cake layered with pineapple-passion fruit, almond, and coconut mousse cake evokes the feeling of an ocean adventure through its bright, tropical flavors. To conclude the meal, a Marc de Champagne frozen soufflé was served, offering a refined and distinctly French finale.

The Regal View Restaurant is Perfect for Passionate Disney Foodies

While the cuisine alone would have made for a memorable dining experience, The Regal View Restaurant also unfolds as a fully immersive royal moment where storytelling extended well beyond the plate.

Throughout the meal, eight Disney Princesses make graceful visits, but one of the most distinctive elements is seeing Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel in outfits created exclusively for Disneyland Paris, making each interaction feel truly special and perfectly suited to the royal setting.

As our time at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge came to a close, it was clear this was far more than a meal. From the Art nouveau details and sweeping views to the thoughtfully curated menus and meaningful character interactions, including the music featuring new renditions of classic Disney Animation songs like “Once Upon a Dream” from Sleeping Beauty, “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas, and “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio, alongside a piano reprise of the Adventure Way main theme composed by French composer Philippe Rombi. Together, these details created an experience that felt both elevated and deeply immersive.

Whether lingering over a cocktail in the lounge or enjoying a multi-course royal dining experience, The Regal View offers a new way to experience Disneyland Paris — one that feels timeless and intentional.
