Old Navy x Disney Americana Collection: What to Shop for Stars, Stripes, and Mickey Style

More Mickey Mouse, more summer memories, and more reasons to venture out to the local Old Navy at the nearby mall.

Growing up, every summer vacation, I looked forward to one magical day when my mom would come and knock on my door and ask if I wanted to go shopping at Old Navy. This was almost my unofficial start to the school break, because yes, I did need new flip-flops. Yes, I did need at least three different American Flag t-shirts for the year. Yes, I did need shorts, skirts, and a bathing suit or two. I remember leaving the Old Navy at the local mall with just bags upon bags of goodies.

Well, guess what. As an adult, I can still capture this summer break shopping spree magic, and still do it with Old Navy — now with 100% more Disney. Dare, I say it’s even better now? Following the launch of 2025’s Old Navy x Disney Americana collectionit’s back for a second time. This means more Mickey Mouse, more summer memories, and more reasons for me to venture out to the local Old Navy at the nearby mall.

Old Navy x Disney: The American Collection 2026

In 2025, Mickey Mouse became the first character ever to appear on Old Navy’s iconic American Flag t-shirt. The first collection, featuring a wide variety of styles and designs, not only featuring Mickey Mouse, but also some of his best friends, quickly went viral in my closet. I might have even insisted that the entire communications department supporting Disney Parks Blog buy the hot dog t-shirt (we all did; we still wear the t-shirt).

The new collection expands the idea of summer fun, with all-new pieces, updated silhouettes, and expanded categories that feel both nostalgic and trendy for the entire family. I can’t take a stroll around Disneyland without seeing some of the 2025 collection, so I’m excited to see what pieces become park-going favorites for this year. If you see me wandering around Main Street, USA, wearing the Reversible Bucket Hat and sipping on a cold brew…no, you didn’t.

As a big Old Navy enthusiast, this collection checks so many boxes for my summer wardrobe. I’ve always loved Old Navy because their pieces feel effortless and wearable while still being full of personality — and this one just happens to be full of Mickey Mouse. The clothes fit my real life, whether I’m heading to work or heading out to Disneyland, and the prices make it easy to say yes to a little style refresh whenever I need one. It’s that magical mix of good staples and wallet-friendly finds that keep me coming back season after season. And in this case, summer collection after summer collection.

Don’t know where to start your own shopping cart first? I’ve got you covered with some of my favorite picks. Even though I would have been first in line to shop it regardless, Old Navy extended an invitation to me to stop by the store at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, California, to check it out. Who doesn’t love a bright and early first look to get a peek at what’s dropping (right now! It’s available online and in stores!) to add to my closet.

What I’m shopping for myself

I actually let out a little gasp the first time I saw the Mickey Mouse Fit & Flare Cami Mini Dress. I’ve already got one (or two) Fit & Flare dresses in my closet, but now adding one with a subtle Mickey Mouse touch? Summer perfection. It’s perfect for a hot day walking around Disneyland Resort, or even heading towards the beach. The Cotton Scarf is also immediately going into my cart. And that’s just the first of many accessories.

The Logo-Graphic T-Shirt is also a must-buy because have you seen what’s on the back? Complimenting last summer’s hot dog shirt, this year it’s a burger(!!). It also comes in sizes for little ones, so that the whole family can match.  More things I’m picking up for myself, regardless if someone is going to match with me, include the Mickey Mouse Short-Sleeve Cropped Raglan Fleece Sweatshirt.

I wasn’t originally going to grab the Oversized Graphic Raglan Sweatshirt, but I took one look at it in the store and realized it needed to be added to my closet. The Raglan sweatshirts are just so cozy and perfect for everyday. I also love the little Mickey Mouse graphic on the front, which is subtle enough for every summer event. It does sometimes get cold at night while I’m watching the Disneyland fireworks…

I also can’t pass up a new tote for summer, and the Small Plaid Tote Bag is perfect for wherever I’m headed. But, for today’s shopping adventure, everything fit nicely in the Large Tote Bag, outfitted with perfect patches on the side. It’s got a pocket on the inside to keep everything organized, whether I’m headed to the park to pick up some snacks or a nearby BBQ.

What I’m shopping for others

As an aunt to some adorable little ones, it’s going to be hard to resist buying absolutely everything. The little plaid shirt and short combos, for toddlers, and both boys and girls? Immediate buy. It also comes in adult sizes, too, for the whole family to match.

I might also be just a little jealous that the Jelly Fisherman Sandals featuring Minnie Mouse are only available for babies.

My summer to-do list includes taking my nephews to the pool, so I grabbed the Swim Rashguard Bodysuit for babies. The striped Mickey Mouse pattern is so cute, so this is another opportunity to match the whole fam because it’s available as a woman’s one-piece, too.

I also want to take a moment and really appreciate the Cardigan Sweater. It comes in the color “sea salt,” which is perfect as it is, but features the most delicate Mickey Mouse design I’ve ever seen. It’s also not too heavy, while still being warm enough to layer over something…like perhaps one of Old Navy’s classic American Flag shirts? I was eying this for my sister for all our summer park trips, but I might just have to grab one for myself.

Shop the collection now in stores and online! Happy summer.
