Save the date! One of the newest Banana Ball Championship League teams, the Indianapolis Clowns, will join the fun as well.

If you thought 2025 was a home run, just wait. This year’s visit will go even bigger!

Friendly reminder: if you plan on visiting Disneyland park or Disney California Adventure park, both a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required to enter (park reservations are limited and subject to availability). Visit Disneyland.com for more information.

With a Park Hopper ticket, you can enjoy both theme parks on the same day. A reservation is required for the first park, then after 11:00 a.m., you can enter the other park and go back and forth (subject to availability).

Savannah Bananas Day 2026: Live Updates

It’s official: the ever-so-lovable Bananas have taken over Disneyland Resort for this year’s Savannah Bananas Day.

With surprise moments, silly antics, select player appearances, and an outstanding schedule of entertainment and events across both parks, we are following along live as the fun unfolds for these bold ballplayers.

Get your glove, bust out your stirrups, and take the mound – follow along with all the latest updates here on Disney Parks Blog across Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland.

Bananas and Clowns at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

Players Gather in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Start the Day

Kicking off the day with a first pitch in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park was quite a treat for players on the Savannah Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns, as they finished up early-morning preparations and posed for a picture in front of the famed Millennium Falcon.

Check out this memorable start to the day in a galaxy, far, far away before the players get ready to take the field for additional fun across Disneyland Resort.

Indianapolis Clowns at Disneyland

The Indianapolis Clowns Take on King Arthur Carrousel

A pioneer in baseball and entertainment, the Indianapolis Clowns made their Disneyland debut this year as they prepped for the weekend slate at Angel Stadium!

Posing in front of King Arthur Carrousel in Fantasyland, the players were all smiles on board hand-painted horses from this classic, 1955 opening day attraction.

The Clowns were originally the greatest barnstorming baseball team for over 50 years and one of the first barnstorming teams to travel the country, while helping to pave the way for Banana Ball by entertaining fans in a different way on a baseball field – read more on BananaBall.com to find out more about the league’s newest team!

Dancing and Singing in Front of Sleeping Beauty Castle

A milestone moment from last year’s event was when the Bananas performed a special dance number (with plenty of tricks and flips) set to Hey Baby in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

This year, players from the Clowns and Bananas once again gathered at the castle, breaking into coordinated dance moves set to several songs, including When You Wish Upon a Star. Dressed in all-yellow uniforms, the players performed their signature choreography – joined by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Clarabelle Cow, and Goofy – as cheering fans watched nearby.

To cap it all off, Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole addressed excited Banana fans gathered at the castle, encouraging everyone to wave their hands to Hey Baby. A surge of energy was brought to the buzzing scene ahead of the afternoon cavalcade at Disneyland park.

Enthusiasm and Energy During the Savannah Bananas Cavalcade

Last year’s Savannah Bananas Cavalcade was one of the standout highlights during the action-packed day, filled with cheering, dancing, and plenty of superstar shenanigans from your favorite familiar faces.

With music and a lively atmosphere along the Disneyland park parade route, the cavalcade was filled with Banana antics you’ve come to know and love – select players shimmied and strut their way down Main Street, U.S.A., as avid fans wearing Banana apparel and Mickey Mouse ears celebrated across the park.

We were able to view the cavalcade from Town Square and enjoyed seeing some players drive by and wave at fans from some of the Main Street Vehicles. Other players such as Jackson Olson and KJ Jackson also participated in the cavalcade, donning the iconic yellow uniforms in this festive moment.

The Bananas Perform for the First Time at California Adventure

A new addition for this year’s event, the Savannah Bananas ventured over to California Adventure for a unique show set against the pristine skyline of Pixar Pier.

Right-handed pitcher Derek Klena kicked off the fun by singing Shut Up and Dance with the rest of the Bananas, before the Clowns took the stage with an awesome rendition of Right Above It.

Following that, the official band for the Clowns and Bananas joined the world-famous Man-Nanas on stage, dancing and facing off against each other during an instrumental version of Beat It.

Finally, the Bananas’ full roster was reintroduced on stage with Shipping Up to Boston playing over the speakers, before Derek led the Bananas in another riveting performance. Get those “spirit fingers” in the air – stay tuned for our next stop!

Fans Meet Players from the Bananas and Clowns

Over at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard at California Adventure, some fans were given the rare opportunity to take photos with select players. Jackie Bradley Jr. from the Clowns and Reese Alexiades from the Bananas were among the star players at this limited experience.

When asked to comment on the day’s activities so far, Split (the official mascot of the Bananas) responded with encouraging thoughts: “💪🍌💛⚾️.”
