We recently shared all there is to do at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, and because that left us with beach views on our mind, we thought it fitting that we head over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort today.
This charming, New-England style resort hotel is complete with fantastic dining, spacious rooms and recreation fun that includes a life-size shipwreck waterslide! Ahoy ye mateys be the first one to climb the mast and slide down one of the highest hotel waterslides at Walt Disney World Resort!
Since we are talking recreation, let’s start there in our highlights of this resort. Along with the amazing waterslide, guests at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will also enjoy the remarkable Stormalong Bay, a three-acre water wonderland! There are also campfire activities, Movies Under the Stars, and motorized pontoon boat rentals!
planDisney Tip: Don’t miss a resort day at this Disney Resorts Collection hotel! With a relaxing lazy river, a thrilling pirate-themed waterslide, hot tubs, and a sandy bottom pool there is something for every member of the family. The young and old will enjoy a lazy, relaxing day at this resort!
After a day of fun in the sun, or maybe a theme park or two, you can rest assured you will enjoy your resort hotel room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and even suites fit for a VIP, this resort has it all. While a standard room with a day bed can sleep up to five adults, a two-bedroom suite can sleep up to seven! And if you want to indulge yourself, check out the Newport Presidential suite!
planDisney Tip: Not only does this resort offer great rooms, but you can’t beat the location. With access to Disney Skyliner and the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT, this might just become your resort of choice! Plus, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just a short walk or boat ride away.
Now to one of the most important topics … food! This resort has dining options that can satisfy the largest, sweet tooth craving, check the box for enjoying a morning of Mickey and Minnie waffles, and even offers a menu full of spectacular seafood.
Cape May Cafe offers guests breakfast and dinner options, with reservations highly recommended. The all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style breakfast is the perfect way to start your day. Assorted house-made pastries and omelets are only the beginning of this breakfast bonanza! If dinner is your style, get ready for dining options like the Seafood Boil and the Turf Platter. Trust us, you will want to put these on the must-order list!
If you scream for ice cream like we scream for ice cream then ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Open for lunch and dinner, this is the home of the Kitchen Sink. Eight scoops of ice cream covered in every topping they have on site, plus a WHOLE CAN of whipped cream. No need to thank us, you are welcome! And if quick service is on your mind, Beach Club Marketplace is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Mobile Ordering Service is available here.
