This week, cast members have been celebrating #AllTheDisneyThrills as we prepare to welcome our newest attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, to Walt Disney World Resort. Magical moments aren’t just reserved for our guests. As part of the #AllTheDisneyThrills media event—during which media, influencers, and other travel partners got to experience the latest and greatest Walt Disney World has to offer—our cast members also enjoyed unique #DisneyCastLife opportunities in ways only possible at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Welcome Center First Look
Kicking off this week’s events, cast members at Disney’s Contemporary Resort were the very first to be transported to an immersive experience beyond their inner child’s wildest dreams. Surrounded by their favorite childhood arcade games, thrills-galore photo walls and backdrops and some sweet treats to top it all off, cast embraced their childlike spirit to celebrate #AllTheDisneyThrills. //*coolphotos.display
Cast Meet and Greet with Filmmakers
It’s not every day that you get to meet an Hollywood talent, but TRON Lightcycle / Run cast members met the filmmakers behind the world of TRON. Steven Lisberger, the writer-director of “TRON” and one of the producers of “TRON: Legacy,” and Justin Springer, another producer of “TRON: Legacy,” thanked the cast for helping to bring this attraction to life. Talk about a high-score moment! //*corememory.initiated
TRON Lightcycle / Run Marquee Moment
To celebrate the newest portal into the Grid at Magic Kingdom Park, cast members surrounded Walt Disney World Resort President Jeff Vahle, Walt Disney World Ambassadors Ali and Raevon, Cindy Morgan and Bruce Boxleitner from the original “TRON” film, AND Mickey and Minnie in their TRON-inspired best during this special moment in front of the attraction’s showstopping marquee.
Happily Ever After #DisneyCastLife Preview
Thousands of cast members and their loved ones were ready to begin and let the wonder take hold during a #DisneyCastLife preview of fan-favorite fireworks spectacular “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom Park. Singing along to this heartwarming and familiar show, our cast were the first to experience new projections along Main Street, U.S.A. While there were some dry eyes in the crowd, clearly mine were not, as you can see in the photo above. (In case you’re wondering, “I Can Go the Distance” from the animated film “Hercules” might have pushed me over the edge). Guests will have the chance to laugh or cry (or do both), when “Happily Ever After” returns to the skies April 3 at Magic Kingdom Park.
As you can see, we have had a blast living our best #DisneyCastLife and celebrating #AllTheDisneyThrills this week. We can’t wait for you to join the fun! *disneycastlife.exe
