Put on your beach best attire and join planDisney panelists Kay and Kristi as they highlight the many benefits of a Character Dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort.
Whether your little one is ready to greet Minnie with a big ol’ hug or would rather say hi from mom or dad’s lap, character dining offers the perfect experience to enjoy one-on-one interaction with some of your favorite Disney pals. Get that phone ready for a quick selfie and don’t forget your autograph book.
planDisney Tip: Be sure to make your dining reservations 60 days out as these dining experiences tend to fill up faster than you can say “Mickey Mouse!”
Another benefit of character dining is that many offer a buffet dining experience. Kristi appreciates this as her little one has so much more to choose from. And as Kay states, the buffets cater to children but there are numerous “sophisticated” choices for adults as well. However, we won’t mention that Kay enjoys the “child-friendly” options the best.
planDisney Tip: Don’t forget, children under 3 dine for free!
While Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort was Kay and Kristi’s dining location choice, there are many other Character Dining experiences guests can find at Disney World including The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park, Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Looking for princesses? Don’t forget Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT and Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom. And don’t forget 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort where you can meet characters from classic Disney films.
planDisney Tip: Guests with a valid Disney Resort Hotel reservation can make reservations for the entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay) starting 60 days in advance of your arrival!
