If you’ve read even a few posts here on Disney Parks Blog, you’ve been subjected to our puns long enough to know we’re fans of all things cheesy. Our team will always brie ready to take on Emile’s Fromage Montage as soon as the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts each year.
And this year, there are three sweet cheesecakes alongside the five savory cheese choices. Since each dish offers a unique tasting experience, Laura and I hit the cheesy trail with Ally and Katie of the Disney Eats team.
Grab your festival passports and come with us as we reveal tastes, textures, and our picks for drink pairings to help guide your visit.

How the Fromage Montage Works
In 2025, Emile’s Fromage Montage showcases eight different cheeses at the fest, with the goal of tasting at least five to acquire a complimentary cheese-inspired dessert.
At each designated location, you’ll receive a stamp on the back page of your festival passport. Collect any five stamps and a surprise treat will be waiting for you at Shimmering Sips Global Marketplace.
Tip: Have a favorite cheese? Your festival passport is stamped for each purchase, which doesn’t have to be all different cheeses. Go ahead and repeat your favorites and get stamped each time!
Cheese flavors and textures vary widely, from creamy and mild to sharp and crumbly. To help set your expectations (and maybe in the spirit of Muppet Labs), we’ve included a cheese-o-meter to display our impressions of the smell and taste of each cheesy dish, ranging from one wedge🧀 for a mild cheese taste, and five wedges 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀 to indicate the most robust aromas and flavors.

Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese
You can order the raclette with or without ham, and both variations come with baby potatoes, cornichons, and a sliced baguette.
- Find it Here: The Alps Global Marketplace
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀🧀🧀🧀 – A strong aroma and bold flavor
This is a favorite of mine every year. The combo of the soft potatoes and the tanginess of the cornichon go great with the crispy bread to dip in the cheese. There’s so much happening on this plate, you might want to share to save room for the rest of the fest.
Laura said of this pungent selection, “This is a great dish for someone who would like a strong cheese; it’s a robust flavor that I think is great for going into the fall season.”
Our Suggested Pairing
New to the fest this year, the Stiegl Brewery Goldbräu Austrian Märzen Lager (also available at Alps Marketplace) was a bright, well-rounded brew that balanced out the hearty nature of the raclette dish.

Schinkennudeln
Regularly seen at Food and Wine, “schinkennudeln” translates to “ham noodles,” and here it comes aswith a slice of pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese.
- Find it Here: Germany Global Marketplace
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀🧀 – Smooth, creamy goodness
Laura noted how this one is a selection for the whole family, “You look at this cheesy goodness and know you’re in for a good time. This one is very mac and cheese-adjacent, so kids are likely to love it.”
Our Suggested Pairing
We sampled the beer flight here in Germany to narrow down your best bet. Katie nailed down the winner to pair with our Fromage Montage dish, “The Von Trapp Brewing Oktoberfest Mãrzen Märzen-Style Lager maltiness and nuttiness complements the smooth Schinkennudeln.”

Basque Cheesecake
New to the festival this year, this cake is served with orange sauce and slices.
- Find it Here: Spain Global Marketplace
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀- Very light and creamy
Fans of caramelized, rich cheesecake should be sure to make this one of their cheese stroll stops.
Laura loved the accompaniments, “The marmalade on top is so nice and refreshing, this is a hearty yet not-too-sweet dessert that you can enjoy even on a warm day.”
And Ally had some advice for crafting your palate, “Definitely try to cut up a little bit of orange and scoop up that marmalade with every custard-like bite.”
Our Suggested Pairing
One sip and we’re encouraging you to get the Summer in Spain cocktail to go with the cheesecake. This drink features frozen Simply Lemonade with Yellow Chartreuse Liqueur and Green Chartreuse Liqueur. The herbal notes in the liqueur balance out with the citrus zing. Katie advised that these flavors play really well with the deep caramelized custard-style cream of the cheesecake.

Honorable Mention
- Looking for something a little more savory in this area of World Showcase? Just a few steps away, the Tortellini alla Vodka features four cheeses with Calabrian chili oil. It’s not an official Emile pick for the Fromage Montage, but it’s worthy of a taste.

Griddled Cheese
A slice of warm cheese on a plate? Some would say this item is an ultimate representation of the cheese stroll. This fan-favorite is covered with pistachios and honey.
- Find it Here: Greece Global Marketplace
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀🧀🧀- Rich and indulgent
Aly enjoyed how the crunch of the pistachios juxtaposed the full-bodied flavor of the cheese. Katie said of the dueling flavors, “There is such a nice blend of the saltiness of the cheese and pistachios and sweetness of the honey. It all works really well together.”
Our Suggested Pairing
For a great contrast to the nutty and salty flavors of the griddled cheese from Greece, try the Greek Melon Limeade. You’ll get a blend of Kleos Mastiha Spirit, Artonic Melon Apéritif, Pearl Vodka, and lime sour mix. Each sip is tangy and bright, the perfect offset for each crunchy, thick bite of your cheesy slice.

Pão de Queijo
This Brazilian cheese bread comes in a trio of soft bites.
- Find it Here: Brazil Global Marketplace
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀- The perfect cheese and bread infusion
With soft flavors embedded into the bread, these chewy bites deliver a subtle cheese treat that are easy to snack on as you traverse World Showcase.
Ally said between bites, “These are soft, thick bites that offer a good variation on the cheese format as you’re working your way through the cheese stroll. The outside is nice and crisp, with a warm pull-apart dough in the middle.”
Our Suggested Pairing
Here at Brazil, grab the Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça Spirit to turn up the dial on tangy flavors alongside the cheese bread. Katie said, “Compared to the light, bready Pão de Queijo, the caipirinha delivers a strong, fruity kick.”

Pineapple Cheesecake
This fun shaped cake is served with passion fruit curd and macadamia nuts.
- Find it Here: Hawai’i Global Marketplace at the front of World Showcase.
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀 – Gentle and sweet
At the beginning of our Fromage Montage journey, Ally had raved about the adorable pineapple presentation of this treat, and it didn’t disappoint; “It’s the cutest lil thing,” she added when we collected our plate.
Sitting atop a drizzle of passionfruit, the pineapple cake lived up to the hype. With each bite, fruity undertones met with the cheesecake flavor to create a pleasant dessert with just the right amount of sweetness. There is no crust on this cheesecake — instead you’ll get a great crunch from the macadamia nuts.
Our Suggested Pairing
We paired our cutie cheesecake with the O’ahu Sunrise. This drink brings the Hawaii vibes, with vodka, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and grenadine, topped with a decorative (and edible) flower. This pairing created the ultimate pineapple experience we were looking for.

Or Try This
- Katie, our Disney Eats recipe tester who is always contemplating new flavors, had another suggestion, “This is a refreshing combo, but this would also be really good with the Maui Brewing Co. Orange Mango Guava Hazy IPA. I’d love to try that hoppy flavor with the sweetness of the cake.”

Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli
This ravioli features a brown butter vinaigrette, pecorino cheese, pomegranate seeds, and hazelnut praline.
- Find it Here: Forest & Field Global Marketplace via the walkway between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀🧀🧀 – Deep, smooth flavors; lots of texture
All said, “With the colorful presentation of the sage and pomegranate seeds, this ravioli dish is perfect for celebrating harvest season. Katie noted that the pumpkin-mascarpone filling with the pecorino cheese created a good blend of salty and sweet.
Our Suggested Pairing
The red Famille Hugel Classic Pinot Noir at Forest & Field is a soft, fruity wine that doesn’t try to compete with all the flavors happening in the pumpkin-mascarpone ravioli. Famille Hugel suggests pairing this well-balanced wine with cheese, so you’re on the right track to enjoy with the cheese-forward pasta.

Fall Fruit Cheesecake
This spice cake features Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheese with pomegranates and candied pecans.
- Find it Here: Milled & Mulled Global Marketplace on the Walkway between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion
- Cheese Potency Level: 🧀🧀 – Complimentary to the fruit and spice
A lover of all things spice cake, this is the one I was excited about. This cheesecake featured a rich, autumnal presentation and flavors that balanced creamy sweetness with warm, fragrant undertones. Our group agreed that if you’re looking for an ultimate fall treat, this cheesecake checks all the boxes.
Katie said, “The fig adds a subtle fruitiness that perfectly complements the spiced base, making each bite indulgent yet nuanced.”
More Spice Cake Please: If you’re like me, you can’t get enough of autumnal cake flavors. If you like the Fall Fruit Cheesecake, try the Freshly Baked Carrot Cake with walnuts and cream cheese icing, also available here at Milled & Mulled.
Our Suggested Pairing
Katie suggested the Keel Farms Maple Harvest Hard Cider (new to the fest this year) and she was right, “The maple from the cider works really well with the warm, earthy flavors in the spice cake.”
