Take me out to the ballgame Magic Kingdom Park!
That’s the tune the Little League team from Lake Mary, Florida was humming this past Thursday at Walt Disney World Resort. The team recently competed in the Little League World Series, defeating Chinese Taipei 2-1 to win the 2024 World Championship. After receiving a truly championship-worthy welcome at Orlando International Airport earlier in the week, the team was honored with a parade down Main Street, U.S.A., on Thursday afternoon.
The players from Lake Mary — located just north of Orlando — were the Grand Marshals ahead of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade on Thursday afternoon. Just like their pro sports heroes before them, the Lake Mary Little League team now gets to enjoy their victory at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
