Disney Christmas Stories Parade Says a Fond Farewell at Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disney Resort Holidays 2024

It’s all things merry and bright at Tokyo Disney Resort where the holiday season has officially kicked off! From now to December 25, both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea have prepared an enchanting lineup, including Disney Christmas Stories “Fond Farewell” parade, which is celebrating its final year.

Showcasing characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios, the parade highlights spending time with loved ones. From Donald Duck dressed as Santa Claus to Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse celebrating a special Christmas Day, you and your little ones won’t want to miss wishing this well-loved offering a final farewell.

There are just so many ways to celebrate this season — here are five more reasons why Tokyo Disney Resort is home of the holidays!

1. Your Bear-y Favorite Show is Back

For the first time in five years, prepare for a knee-slappin’ good time with the Country Bears this holiday season at “Jingle Bell Jamboree.” The bears are putting on a show exclusive to Tokyo Disneyland with a few festive bells and whistles. Bring the whole family before it’s out of season on January 13, 2025!

2. Parks Adorned with Seasonal Décor

Both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are decked out in their holiday best! Over at Tokyo Disneyland, you’ll find a nearly 50-foot tree taking center stage at World Bazaar, as well as more traditional garland and wreaths adding to the festive atmosphere. You can find a second 50-foot tree at the American Waterfront in Tokyo DisneySea, plus Duffy and Friends-themed decor over in Cape Cod.

3. Cheerful Winter Entertainment

We can’t think of many things better than Santa, Mickey, Duffy and all their friends coming together in one place! Be sure to catch “Disney Christmas Greeting” during the day from the shores of Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea for a very special holiday greeting.

We wish we may, we wish we might get to see the Starbright Christmas Fireworks one night! Grab a cup of hot chocolate and gather with friends and family to watch as the skies come alive with fireworks at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

And that’s not the only star of the season! “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights” will even have a special Christmas version for a limited time. The fan-favorite parade has been transformed with music featuring a holiday jingle and seasonally-themed floats and characters.

4. Mistletoe Around the Resort on a Holiday-Themed Monorail

The Disney Resort Line monorail is brimming with holiday cheer! Be sure to catch this limited-time monorail complete with decorations, including a Santa hat on each of the Mickey-shaped hand straps — how adorable?! Through December 25, one to four day passes will even feature three types of limited-period designs and guests boarding the Disney Christmas Liner can also receive a special sticker to commemorate the season.

5. Spruced Up Goodies

Yule be thrilled to know there’s plenty of holiday-themed merchandise and food this year at Tokyo Disney Resort. Your holiday wish list will be jam packed with items inspired by Mickey, Minnie and Pluto to the adorable Christmas elf, Li’l RingRing, found only in Tokyo.

And for those wanting a taste of the season, special menus can be found all around the resort from cozy holiday-inspired sets to Li’l RingRing-themed desserts and souvenir items.

There’s truly nowhere like Tokyo Disney Resort for the holidays! Stay tuned as we continue to share more from celebrations around the world.
