Grab your sweaters and put on your favorite scarves because Disney Winter Frostival returns to Shanghai Disney Resort from November 7, 2025 to March 3, 2026! Whether you’re a fan of dazzling winter décor, heartwarming treats, or brrr-eathtaking entertainment, we’re unwrapping all that’s in store.
A Winter Wonderland Awaits
This season, the entire resort will be transformed with brand-new holiday décor, including an all-new Christmas tree that will come to life each evening in the Gardens of Imagination. Taller than ever before, it’ll be adorned with a variety of ornaments and topped with a radiant star.
We’re also excited to share that a charming troupe of all-new snow statues will make their debut along Mickey Avenue and the Gardens of Imagination. Inspired by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends, each snow creation features playful nods to their signature styles — from Minnie’s iconic polka-dot bow to Donald’s timeless sailor hat.
Throughout the park, you can also find the popular ice statues that’ll feature new friends and characters this year. And the winter fun doesn’t stop there as a brand-new winter social wall will feature imagery of Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy and Friends as they enjoy a magic snow day — great for winter photos!
The Return of Fan-Favorite Entertainment
Step into a world of winter wonder with Mickey, Minnie, and the Snowies as “Mickey’s Snow Magic” fills Mickey Avenue with a flurry of falling snow, themed music, and captivating projections of Disney classic stories.
The celebration continues with the return of “Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade” featuring glittering floats and Disney friends adorned in seasonal outfits as they bring classic Disney winter scenes to life. As night falls, “A Celebration of Disney Winter Frostival” brings the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Gardens of Imagination to life with beautiful lights, stirring sounds, and stunning projections to tell beloved Disney tales.

Birthday Celebrations Await
From November 12 to 18, 2025, a week-long celebration will be held to mark a magical birthday party for Mickey and Minnie including daily performances from the Shanghai Disneyland Band in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle. Following each evening nighttime spectacular, Mickey and Minnie’s Birthday Celebration Castle Projection “Best Wishes” will also fill the air with fireworks and picturesque scenes in the leadup to a grand finale on November 18.

Heartwarming Moments with Disney Friends
You can’t forget one of the best parts of the celebration — meeting beloved Disney pals as they wear their winter threads! This year, Winnie and Pooh and Friends will be dressed in cozy new winter looks featuring natural, textured fabrics. Mickey and Friends and Duffy and Friends will also sport festive holiday outfits, joining in the fun to celebrate the season.
Delicious Festive Delights
Across the resort, you can enjoy a variety of warm and sweet treats, from holiday-themed donuts and cookies to festive muffins that spark cheer. Over at Royal Banquet Hall and Aurora at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, a selection of dishes celebrates the flavors of winter, while Lumière’s Kitchen Christmas Season Dinner Buffet offers a festive feast filled with mouthwatering delicacies.
