1. Winter Arrives at Zootopia
O-M-Goodness! The first-ever Winter Snow-Ball Festival has arrived at Zootopia through January 1, 2025! Transforming into a snowy winter day, there will be a stunning snow-ball tree and snow animal décor. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are even bringing out their cozy looks to celebrate Snow-Ball Day.
2. The Winter Cavalcade Returns
The most winterful cavalcade returns to Shanghai Disney Resort! Not only does ‘Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade” bring to life classic Disney winter scenes, but Mickey and Friends’ seasonal outfits will also transform from Christmas to the Spring Festival.
3. Walk into a Winter Wonderland
Mickey Avenue is even more special this season as we welcome new stories to “Mickey’s Snow Magic”! Step into a winter wonderland brought to life by Mickey, Minnie and the Snowies, from enchanting, themed music to captivating projections of Disney classic stories and a stunning snowfall.
4. n-Ice Experiences You Can’t Miss
Some things are worth melting for, especially “Frostival! A Celebration of Winter”! This special experience will warm your heart with spectacular projections, beautiful lights and seasonal sounds that transform the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Gardens of Imagination.
We’re also excited to share the popular faux ice statues around the park are returning! And the winter fun is extending outside of Zootopia with all-new sculptures of Gazelle, Fru Fru, Mr. Big and more from the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film “Zootopia” — it’s love at frost sight. Grab a hot chocolate and wander around with your littles to see which characters you can spot!
5. Characters in their Winter Best
Your favorite Disney characters are donning their winter looks to celebrate the season! Winnie the Pooh and Friends will be decked out in winter sports gear, featuring fluffy down jackets, knitted beanies, and fleeces, as they prepare to hit the slopes in the Hundred Acre Wood. Queens, Princesses and Princes from the “Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade” will also periodically make appearances to wish you a happy winter at Castle Encounters. Plus, Mickey and Friends, as well as Duffy and Friends, will be rocking all new looks!
