This past year, I was able to venture over to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort for the very first time. I can assure you my taste buds enjoyed the trip as much as I did, if not more! As a first-time visitor, I made sure to try all of the can’t-miss foodie experiences at the resort. And you’re in luck, because I’ve put together five of those bites you simply cannot miss when taking a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and maybe even an extra one just for good measure.
Let’s get to it!
1. Specialty Donuts at Main Street Bakery
Right after entering the park, you’ll be drawn to the sweet smells of the Main Street Bakery. Here you’ll find character-inspired specialty donuts that are as delicious as they are adorable! The talented team expertly puts together these tasty creations resembling Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and even Duffy and some of his friends. It’s the perfect way to start your day on a sweet note.
2. DOLE Whip with Strawberry Slush Float at Jessie’s Snack Roundup
After shrinking down to the size of a toy, it’s only right to treat yourself with a tasty item, and I’ve got the perfect one for you. The DOLE Whip with Strawberry Slush Float from Jessie’s Snack Roundup is absolutely delicious. It perfectly combines the sweetness of the strawberry slush with the pineapple-goodness of the DOLE Whip for a refreshing flavor with every sip. And how cute is that cup inspired by Jessie herself?
3. Italian Gelato Boat at Small World Ice Cream
Just outside of “it’s a small world,” those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to find this gelato location with some truly incredible creations! As a self-proclaimed gelato aficionado myself, I could not wait to dig into the Italian Gelato. With multiple flavors and mouthwatering toppings served in an “it’s a small world”-themed bowl, I am pleased to share it did not disappoint!
4. Dim Sum at Crystal Lotus
What’s better than dim sum? Character dim sum! Crystal Lotus at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is an absolute must-try. Whether you’ve been before or it’s your first time there, the dim sum here is not your average offering. The incredibly talented team handmakes all of these detailed creations inspired by some of your favorite characters, like Winnie the Pooh and friends. They’re so cute they’re (almost) too cute to eat. Be sure to take a photo too, because they’re so tasty, you’ll want to eat them all!
5. Delightful Shakes and Sips from Ink & Plate
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel is the Ink & Plate. This spot is inspired by the magic and imagination of animation! From the décor to the food itself, everything is crafted with tons of creativity and flavor. Strawberry lovers will rejoice at the Colorful Strawberry Shake, while those looking for a colorful and refreshing beverage will enjoy the Animation Pilsner. For a chance to test your artistic skills, see what you can create while you sip with the Color Mixer. All three are delicious and the perfect additions to your meal.
Bonus Pick! Northern Delights at World of Frozen
Ok, I’ve got one more for you because I couldn’t limit this list to just five. Step into Arendelle at World of Frozen. This Frozen-themed land area opened last year and is filled with delectable bites inspired by this beloved story and its characters. Northern Delights specializes in sweet treats that are truly works of art, such as the Coronation Sundae and Candy Apple Snowball.
