While we are not here to present any grim news to Earth like the Silver Surfer, we are thrilled to announce that for a limited time this summer, guests visiting Disneyland park will have the opportunity to encounter The Fantastic Four as they make select appearances in Tomorrowland.
Starting July 25, all four members of the first family of Super Heroes will make appearances in the area alongside their cute, faithful robot assistant H.E.R.B.I.E., who is always up to the task of finding new faces to assist. During this limited time run, guests may encounter one member of The Fantastic Four or H.E.R.B.I.E. as they drop into Tomorrowland between missions — select appearances are also coming soon to Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
If you’ve been humming that powerful musical score from the trailer or are looking to see which members of The Fantastic Four your little one will be able to take a picture with, read on to see who you may be able to spot between Earth-saving tasks and some good old fashioned family time.
Get Ready for Clobberin’ Time with The Thing
Everybody’s best friend with a true heart of gold, The Thing is the backbone of The Fantastic Four and a rock-solid pal. With plenty of incredible stamina and powerhouse might, The Thing will greet heroic guests young and old at Disneyland park for a limited time before he heads out on his next mission to protect the universe.
You can also catch up with The Thing as his adventures take him to other spots around the world. At Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, look for him when he appears at select times on the Tomorrowland Stage beginning July 23.
Stretch Your Arm Out to Shake Mister Fantastic’s Hand
With the ability to adapt, bend and stretch around any problem that arises, Mister Fantastic leads The Fantastic Four with scientific brilliance and a twisting, pliable form that would even impress a classic Disneyland pretzel.

The leading maternal figure of The Fantastic Four and a formidable heroine with great powers of invisibility, the Invisible Woman will radiate with energy as she greets friendly guests looking to thank her for her heroism. Dressed in her classic Super Hero look, the Invisible Woman is sure to impress alongside the rest of The Fantastic Four.
Additionally at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, you can look for the Invisible Woman to join The Thing for heroic encounters when they appear on the Tomorrowland Stage together starting July 23. Don’t miss out on these opportunities before she… disappears.
Flame On and Greet the Human Torch
With a love of adventure and high thrills, you would think the Human Torch would be racing through the cosmos to the edge of the galaxy on Space Mountain. Instead, he’ll be greeting guests in his blue and white Super Hero attire in the heart of Tomorrowland, lighting up smiles for guests young and old with his signature charm and trademark grin.
Amidst your high-flying ride on Astro Orbitor and a delightful meal from Alien Pizza Planet, don’t forget to catch the Human Torch in between missions outside Tomorrowland Theater, near the entrance to Space Mountain in Disneyland. But make sure not to cause any cosmic issues that may make him or the rest of his family late – he likes to have a family dinner on Sundays at 7, on the dot, no matter what… without any fiery sparks.
Meet the Lovable Robot, H.E.R.B.I.E.
With an adorable manner and a helpful personality, H.E.R.B.I.E. is the faithful assistant to The Fantastic Four built by Mister Fantastic himself. When he’s not helping Mister Fantastic develop brand new technology, maintaining The Fantastic Four’s ship, or setting the table for a home-cooked meal, H.E.R.B.I.E. will appear in a dedicated space adjacent to The Fantastic Four’s location outside Tomorrowland Theater for a limited time.
With a versatile repertoire of abilities to help the Fantastic Four when they’re in trouble, H.E.R.B.I.E. is a vital part of the team that serves as a friendly, loyal companion — don’t miss out on your chance to see him!
Power Up with More Experiences with The Fantastic Four at Disneyland and Beyond
Looking for even more ways to suit up and celebrate the arrival of The Fantastic Four during the 70th Celebration? Starting July 25 through September 21, the iconic façade of Space Mountain at Disneyland will light up with special projection effects throughout the evening in a celebration of The Fantastic Four.
In addition, select food and beverage items and novelties will launch across Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris to celebrate the debut of the film, including The Fantastic Four: Clobberin’ Sipper and the Mister Fantastic Straw Clip at Disneyland Resort!
