Every day, Disneyland Paris cast members provide guests with magical experiences and create loving memories which will last forever. Some of these cast members have been making magic for many years, dedicating up to 35 years of their career to the success and incredible evolution of our resort.
Last November, more than two thousand cast members were invited to join three exceptional gala nights held in the honor of their 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 35 years of service, a tradition initiated by Walt Disney himself in 1965. Honorees and their loved ones were welcomed on the red carpet by the company’s senior executives and enjoyed an exclusive dinner show in a 30th anniversary themed venue.
Beatrice Fletcher, Senior Receptionist, celebrating 30 years with the company, invited her son to the celebration. “[My son] was four years old when I started working at Disneyland Paris and tonight, he escorted me to celebrate my 30th anniversary. It’s wonderful!”
As the night began, Mickey and his time machine took the invitees on a musical trip back in time through the resort’s most iconic moments thanks to a live band, which also maintained the energy high on the dance floor throughout the evening. Two photo booths were also specially created for the occasion to capture personalized souvenirs of these incredible evenings for all attendees.
The events were filled with excitement as Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, and Carmen Lleo Badal and Quentin Rodrigues, Disneyland Paris Ambassadors celebrated with the honorees.
“When a company puts so much effort to host their employees like this, it feels like a wonderful recognition of our work and dedication,” said Sophie Dero, Head of Marketing and Public Relations Belux Parks & Resorts. “This makes me want to sign on for another 15 years!”
Disney service anniversaries are celebrated all around the world, including Walt Disney World and Disneyland. To read more about service celebrations and related topics, stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and follow the Disney Ambassadors teams on Instagram.
