Last week, Disneyland Paris invited its cast members to discover and experience a preview of its upcoming 30th Anniversary celebrations during a unique event created exclusively for them!
As the 30th Anniversary unique theme song, “Un Monde qui s’Illumine” filled the expo, cast enjoyed an exclusive preview of all that is to come starting March 6. Welcomed by Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, Daniel Delcourt, Executive Vice President, Operations, and Guillaume Da Cunha, Vice President, Human Resources, those who will bring the magic of this celebration to life for guests were the first to witness firsthand the 30th Anniversary entertainment and products.
From an exhibit on the iridescent costumes and accessories our Disney characters will wear during this milestone celebration and a preview of the Disney D-Light night sequence, to merchandise collections that will delight shopping fans, the event allowed cast members to get the inside scoop on festivities a month before the official launch.
“I can’t wait to see the reaction of our guests when they experience the show with the drones. It should be spectacular,” said Shirley, cast member on the Consumer Insight team.
Among the exclusive items unveiled were the textiles and accessories for Minnie’s new outfit designed by Stella McCartney, the design of the floats for the brand-new day show “Dream… and the Shine Brighter,” the first sculpture from the Gardens of Wonder, and a range of merchandise products developed just for cast. The expo also included a colorful finale with Mickey, Minnie and their Friends in their party outfits!
“It was great to see all these new products in person and I can’t wait to see them come to life in our parks!” shared Matteo, cast member at Agrabah Café.
