planDisney Answers Your Vacation Planning Questions in New Video Series

Ask planDisney

Do you have Disney vacation planning questions? Ask planDisney! The panelists are answering your frequently asked questions in an all-new video series presented by State Farm.

To kick off the series, panelists Greg and Mandy head to EPCOT to answer one of our most asked questions: “What is the best use of a snack on the dining plan?” There is no right or wrong way to snack around Walt Disney World, but if you’re looking to maximize the value of your snacks, you’ve come to the right place.

There are two dining plans to choose from, and each plan includes a certain number of prepaid meals and snacks to enjoy throughout your vacation. Whether you opt for the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan, each person on your reservation ages 3 and up will receive one snack per night of stay.

For example, if Greg booked a 4-night Disney Resort Hotel Package with either dining plan for his upcoming family vacation, each family member would receive 4 snacks to redeem throughout their stay. Unused snacks roll over from day to day and don’t expire until midnight on the day you check out, which means you have complete flexibility on when, where, and how you redeem your snacks.

One of Mandy’s favorite dining plan hacks is to make snacking more like a meal, and she’s showing us her favorite spot to do this at EPCOT. There are so many savory items that make for a perfect breakfast or lighter lunch, and you won’t even believe they qualify as a snack.

Got a sweet tooth? The panelists recommend a few treats to satisfy those cravings. And the best part is that they’re perfect for sharing, so grab a few friends and get to snacking.

And if you’re looking for some lighter options, Greg’s got you covered. The World Showcase is home to a hidden gem with healthy snacks that are full of flavor, and Greg is eager to try one… or two… or three…
