‘Moana 2’ Voyages Across Disney Parks with All New Experiences and Products

Get ready for new adventures across Disney Parks in celebration of “Moana 2”, now playing only in theaters!

“Moana 2” reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, and produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino, “Moana 2” features music by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Grammy nominee Opetaia Foaʻi, and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.

Beginning this week, for a limited time, Moana is set to debut her new look from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana 2,” as she journeys across the far seas to visit Disney parks around the world. She will sail the globe and make appearances at Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park in a special setting inspired by her island home, World Nature near the entrance to Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. Set a course for the heart of Disneyland Park* in Paris and you’ll be able to strike a pose with Moana in a stunning island setting from Nov. 27, 2024, to Jan. 6, 2025. You will also have a chance to see Moana in Adventureland at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort!

For a limited time at the Animation Academy at the Disney California Adventure Park, guests can celebrate “Moana 2” by learning to draw five characters from the film: Moana, Maui, Heihei, Pua and Kotu under the guidance of a talented Disney artist!  Starting Nov. 27, 2024, for a limited time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can stop by The Animation Experience at Conservation Station where a talented Disney animator gives step-by-step instructions on how to bring our favorite characters to life!

“World of Color” at Disney California Adventure Park Presents Water Short

For a limited time, a new water short, “Boat Snack,” highlighting the Walt Disney Animation Studios Film “Moana 2,” will be presented ahead of “World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure Park. As the lights dim around Paradise Bay, the lagoon springs to life with thundering drums, animated projections, towering fountains, dazzling lasers, and sparkling lighting effects – magically transporting guests into the ocean for an epic, fun-filled, new adventure for the entire family. In “Boat Snack,” guests can observe the humor and friendship of Moana and Maui, set to the song “We’re Back” from the film.

Disneyland Resort guests can capture the legendary beauty of the South Pacific with a complimentary themed Disney PhotoPass Lens using the Disneyland app.*

If you find yourself wayfinding through Disney Springs this holiday season, be on the lookout for a special “Moana 2”-themed Christmas tree as part of the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth.

When Moana travels to Disneyland Paris, guests can stop by the old Annual Passport Office to visit with her in her new look before she embarks on her next journey.  Beginning on November 27 over at Disneyland Hotel, hotel guests can find two new Moana exclusives during their royal stay, a new bedtime story featuring Moana’s little sister, Simea, and a limited Pua sticker will be available while supplies last. To top it all off, make your way over to Adventureland for an Animated Magic Shot with Vaiana, Maui, Pua and Heihei from November 27 to January 6.

For a limited time, IKSPIARI shopping mall at Tokyo Disney Resort will celebrate the release of Moana 2 through decorations and displays inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film with exciting offerings for all ages!
