Meet a Magic Maker for Disney Vacation Club’s Member Lounge at Disneyland Resort

Disney Vacation Club Cast Member Spotlight Disneyland Lounge

No dream is too far-fetched. This “Uncle Walt” mindset has long inspired wishes upon stars, trusting in pixie dust and unlocking the magic within.

Built on a legacy of blue-sky ideas and endless wonder, The Walt Disney Company is the sum of awe-inspiring moments of magic, made possible by cast members like Britney Bressler, who grabs ahold of her dreams and inspires others to do the same.

Growing up in South Georgia, Britney fondly recalls routine road trips to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where her long-lasting affection for the company began. Nearing adulthood, a move to California brought her even closer to the magic, introducing a whole new world of must-see lands and opportunities for her dreams to come true.

Disneyland park, Walt’s original magic kingdom, is deep-rooted in history with fascinating finds around every corner, including, in the heart of Tomorrowland, at Disney Vacation Club Star View Station – the first member lounge at The Happiest Place on Earth.

Britney got her start as a Vacation Advisor in this richly detailed “space,” where the art and artifacts range from archival images created by Disney Legends to actual artifacts connected to Walt Disney himself (including, an S-1 space station model that appeared with Walt in a 1962 episode of “The Magical World of Disney” – one of numerous artifacts highlighted in a hit episode of the award-winning, made-for-members YouTube series “Details We Dig”).

Most weeks, Britney splits her time between working at the member-exclusive lounge and taking calls to assist with vacation-planning services, such as booking Disney Cruise Line voyages, Adventures by Disney trips, National Geographic Expeditions and Disney Resort stays in Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong. She also serves on the Member Education team, a program committed to helping members make the most out of their membership.

While still relatively new to the Disney Vacation Club team, Britney calls upon a commitment to Disney magic that was part of her life long before she became a cast member.

“Like so many of us at Member Services, we believe in the magic just as much as our members do,” she said as a longtime Disney fan. “And when we’re able to create a little Disney magic for them, it’s a feeling unlike any other.”

Britney finds particular joy in finding ways to add a little extra magic to members’ vacations, from booking the last studio available at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel for a family attending Oogie Boogie Bash on the tower’s opening night (Sept. 28, 2023) to adding a special message from Santa for a guest who always dreamed of spending the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort to securing spontaneous staycations for Southern California members at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

“I hope the little magic I create is enough to change lives for the better,” Britney said, “just as Disney has changed mine.”
