Last week, the Disney Programs team hosted the inaugural Endless Possibilities Showcase, an expo-style event designed for participants on the program to learn about their cast member resources and network with teams from across the company.

“When you’re just starting out on your program, it can be overwhelming to learn how to navigate how to take advantage of our resources and determine future steps,” shares Elyse Robbins, a Program Experience Manager on the Disney Programs Learning team who helped organize the event. “We wanted to give participants the space to develop themselves, expand their network and learn about different resources that are available to them during and beyond their program.”

Many of the attending teams and leaders at the event were program alumni themselves, excited to connect with participants who are currently on a similar career journey to one they were once on. It was incredible to see the turnout from so many different lines of business, all there to provide support and information to participants eager to learn more about how to make the most of their program experience.

Some of the teams represented at the event included Disney Culinary, Minnie Vans, Wilderness Explorers, Disney Signature Experiences, Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Vacation Club – just to name a few! Additionally, some of our Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs) and teams including Be Well and Life Care were also in attendance to teach participants about their cast member resources. In addition to networking, participants could attend career-development sessions, get a professional headshot taken and even snap a photo with Buzz and Woody.

“This showcase was designed to help provide guidance and showcase how many different roles we have here, while simultaneously giving our participants the chance to start getting comfortable with networking,” Elyse explains. “The opportunities at Disney are truly endless.”
