There’s nowhere like Tokyo Disney Resort for the holidays — and for the first time in three years, “Disney Christmas” returns from now through December 25 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. From a seasonal parade to popular wintertime snacks, enchanting décor, and more — there’s no shortage of festive fun in store.
At Tokyo Disneyland, enter the ultimate wonderland as the World Bazaar transforms into a Christmastime full of fantasy — including a nearly 50-foot Christmas tree and a flower bed featuring Mickey Mouse in a Santa Claus hat. Along the parade route, celebrate the season as scenes of Disney friends enjoying the season come to life in “Disney Christmas Stories.” Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Max, Woody, Buzz, Stitch, Anna, Elsa and more all plan to don their merriest looks as they share holiday tales.
For those looking to enjoy two holidays in one, now through January 4, 2023, discover a tale of dear Sandy Claws as Jack Skellington transforms the Haunted Mansion into a “Holiday Nightmare.”
Over at Tokyo DisneySea, delight in colorful décor adorning Mediterranean Harbor and Waterfront Park. At sunset, be sure to take in the dreamy and romantic ambiance as the lights flicker on for the evening. The entertainment offerings are, of course, both merry and bright with “Disney Christmas Greeting” on the waters of Mediterranean Harbor and “Christmastime with You” at the Hangar Stage.
Winter favorites are taking over the menus around the resort, including the popular chocolate churro. At Tokyo Disneyland, try one of the delectable special sets at Eastside Café and Horizon Bay Restaurant, or savor holiday dishes served with “Duffy & Friends’ Winter Twinkling Town” souvenir items at Tokyo DisneySea.
The Disney Hotels are celebrating the season too with Christmas-themed menu items! Find ornament-inspired desserts at Empire Grill in the Disney Ambassador Hotel, Christmas feast-themed dishes at Silk Road Garden in Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, and at Canna in Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, course meals are decked out in Christmas colors.
Around the resort, spruce up your holiday shopping with special merchandise featuring Mickey and his friends enjoying the season, as well as “Duffy & Friends’ Winter Twinkling Town” designs.
And to close out the night, catch “Starbright Christmas” parkwide as the nighttime sky comes to life with Christmas music and seasonally shaped fireworks.
We hope you fa-la-la-la-la in love with Tokyo Disney Resort’s “Disney Christmas” — just like we did! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog as we mistletoe around the world, sharing all the festive fun at our international parks.
