Technical Product Manager Meg Brown had been looking to find the “real Meg” all over the world, from the Bahamas to a Beyonce concert. However, it wasn’t until her boarding call for a flight to Iceland that she was gifted with another call – from Disney.
Reflecting upon her lifelong passion for Disney, Meg grew up believing that anything was possible as she watched characters in her favorite films, including ”Bedknobs and Broomsticks.” Little did she know then that she would start her own whimsical journey as a tech and digital cast member at Disney. From the beginning of that journey, Meg knew she wanted to be true to herself when she started her Disney dream.
“I want Disney to see the real Megan. I don’t want them to see any kind of smoke and mirrors. I want them to see the value that I bring to the table.”
The real Meg was precisely what Disney was looking for as Meg officially joined the company during the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort. Since then, she has been an advocate for inclusion and celebrates her culture and those around her.
