Recipe for the ‘Colette’ Champagne Cocktail at Disney Cruise Line’s Remy

Colette Cocktail Recipe Remy Disney Cruise Line

Anyone can cook … or in this case, mix!

For this installment of #DisneyMagicMoments, we’re excited to spotlight one of my favorite places aboard our Disney Cruise Line ships:  Remy, the French-inspired fine dining restaurant on the Disney Dream and  Disney Fantasy. We’ll take a quick look at some of the exquisite design details that make this location so unique and also share the recipe for one of the restaurant’s signature cocktails.

As you might have guessed, Remy is named after the tiny chef with a passion for cooking in the 2007 Disney•Pixar film “Ratatouille.” Evoking the romance of Paris, the City of Lights, this restaurant offers the most luxurious dining experience aboard our Disney Cruise Line  ships.

The elegant dining room is softly lit and designed in a timeless Art Nouveau style with tasteful nods to the film, including artful appearances of Remy. Some of my favorite details are featured in the images below!

But of course, there is the main event – the cuisine. Guests will dine on fine French fare from an ever-changing menu brought to you by the culinary talents of two prestigious chefs,  Scott Hunnel and  Arnaud Lallement, who are both internationally recognized for their outstanding creations.

And these delectable masterpieces are accompanied by an array of fine wines and libations. Which leads me to the “Colette” Cocktail, a beverage inspired by chef Colette from “Ratatouille.” At Remy, this signature cocktail is handcrafted tableside, expertly combining champagne and vodka and garnished with three Cassis pearls and dried pineapple cubes. And now you can impress your friends and family by making it at home! See the recipe details below:
