Get excited: we’re about to peek at some of the most jaw-dropping details onboard the Disney Treasure!
Recently, I had the opportunity to step onboard for a first look at Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, and I was blown away by the next-level features that bring dynamic Disney, Pixar, Park-inspired and Marvel stories to life. Here you’ll find everything you love about sailing with Disney Cruise Line, but with some extra pixie dust. There are so many tucked-away treasures to spot, from hidden characters in the Grand Hall chandelier to specters paying supernatural visits at the Haunted Mansion Parlor.
Keep reading for your very own tour of the highlights of my trip — including must-dos for your own Disney Treasure adventure!

The Grand Hall
When you first embark on the Disney Treasure, you’ll find yourself in the Grand Hall: the ship’s most prominent gathering space and your key to unlocking all the adventures that await you onboard. This magnificent, palace-like area, complete with a grand staircase and bronze statue of Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and the Magic Carpet, is truly jaw-dropping. Keep an eye out for the Magic Carpet plucking a flower from below in its tassels, just like in the movie!
I spent so long wandering around admiring the real-world influences from Asia and Africa, as well as the land of Agrabah from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Aladdin. There is so much lush greenery; a beautiful blue and green carpet adorned with Abu, the golden scarab beetle, Jasmine’s birds, and more; and frescos painted by Walt Disney Imagineering artists on the walls. Can you spot Rajah?

But the cherry on top of the Grand Hall is the beautiful chandelier at the top of the staircase, which features the silhouettes of Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and more. Head up to the third landing for an up-close look.
We’ve barely stepped onboard, and I’m already floored. Let’s dive into more far-off lands, heroic challenges, and thrilling adventures to see what else we can find!

Tomorrow Tower Suite
I checked something off my bucket list when I got the chance to tour the Tomorrow Tower Suite, a 2,000 square foot stateroom inspired by the adventures of tomorrow and Walt Disney World Resort’s theme park, EPCOT. This luxurious space features two main bedrooms, a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom, four and a half bathrooms, and a futuristic design chock-full of Easter eggs for EPCOT fans.
As a self-proclaimed EPCOT fan myself, I was positively giddy as I explored this suite. You’ll find nods to Spaceship Earth everywhere, from the purple ceiling painted with a geometric design to the wallpaper in one of the bedrooms to the colorful tile design hanging from the ceiling.

Books on shelves nod to “Imagination,” “Journey,” “Discover,” and more…and everyone’s favorite dragon, Figment, appears in statue form in multiple places!
Aside from being a beautifully designed, luxurious space to decompress after a day full of adventure, this suite has a little something special for Disney superfans, and that’s all in the details. Two thumbs up from me — now let’s keep exploring!
More Artistry Onboard
As we’re crossing the ship to our next stop, I can’t help but stop to admire the artwork scattered around. You’ll find the most breathtaking pieces in the most unassuming corners! From a stunning painting featuring all the Disney Cruise Line ships to a black-and-white nod to Steamboat Willie, my eyes grew wide with every turn I took.
As you explore the ship, you’ll want to keep an eye out below your feet, too! The carpets contain nods to classic Disney stories and characters.

Haunted Mansion Parlor
We’re back on deck 3 to drop by the all-new Haunted Mansion Parlor, inspired by the iconic Disney Parks attraction. This is my favorite experience onboard, and it takes immersion to a whole-new level.
From the moment you step inside through a coffin-shaped foyer, you’ll find yourself transported to the Haunted Mansion itself, from the attraction audio to color-changing lights to thunder and wind. Ghosts disappear and reappear in the mirror, portraits transform into skeletal specters…and you may even hear Constance Hatchaway’s heartbeat echoing through the space.

I literally felt like I had stepped inside the story of the Haunted Mansion! While the spectral sips sure are delicious, the space is an experience itself. I took my time walking around the parlor, admiring details like the eerie clock on the mantle, that familiar purple wallpaper, and skeletal ghost fish swimming around. Make sure you hang around long enough to experience various interactive sequences inspired by different scenes from the park attraction, such as “Séance” and “Swinging Wake.”
The Haunted Mansion Parlor brings Disney to life like I have never seen before – and it’s an absolute must-do for your own adventure on the high seas!

Distinctly Disney Details
There are plenty of opportunities for you to encounter your favorite Disney movies, characters and more onboard (fancy a dining experience inspired by Coco?). But the true wonder comes from the unrivaled imagination of the Walt Disney Imagineers who brought this space to life. You’ll experience Disney stories in totally unexpected ways!
For example, in front of Jumbeaux’s Sweets on deck 11, you’ll find a lemming-sized door next to the human-sized door, perfect for the smaller critters in the mammal metropolis of Zootopia. You can also spot tucked-away characters like Cri-Kee from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Mulan, chilling in a teacup outside Jade Cricket Café.
And inside Scat Cat Lounge, look for pawprints on the piano, left by your favorite kitties from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, The Aristocats. I love the mix of sophisticated spaces and subtle Disney touches. The attention to detail and the passion of the Walt Disney Imagineering team is unmatched, and it makes a Disney Cruise Line adventure truly unique.
