Steven Miller
Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility
As a Senior Manager supporting the Corporate Social Responsibility and Government Relations teams, I help create beautiful tomorrows for children and families in the Central Florida community and beyond. I also currently lead the Walt Disney World Ambassador Program, after having served as a Disney Ambassador in 2001-2002. During this prestigious two-year assignment started by Walt Disney, these “goodwill emissaries” inspire cast members to live their best #DisneyCastLife while also bringing joy and happiness to those who need it most. I began my Disney career in summer 1997 on the Disney College Program as a merchandise host at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island, followed by a Professional Internship in the Casting Center. Other stops along my journey include roles with Training and Development at Disney University, World Showcase Operations, Disney Pin Trading, Merchandise Communications and Public Affairs. Since October 2009, I have shared stories on Disney Parks Blog about Disney merchandise, heritage and history, and new attractions such as TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park. During my time with merchandise, I hosted the “Disney Parks Blog Unboxed” video series which gave guests sneak previews of new souvenirs created especially for Disney Experiences As part of my role at Disney, I currently serve on the Board of Directors for A Gift For Teaching, a Central Florida nonprofit organization providing educational resources that empower teachers to inspire future leaders.
