Dream It, Do It: This Network Helps Cast Members Achieve Greatest Potential

This Network Helps Cast Members Achieve Greatest Potential

As we continue to honor Women’s History Month, embracing a world where women are empowered to achieve their greatest potential, groups of women and allies come together to celebrate achievements, build communities and inspire others. And that’s why Amy Reinbolt, manager of strategic integration, helped to form the Women’s Inclusion Network in 2018 as one of the many ways we’re reimagining tomorrow.

Amy is a champion of diversity and helped form the organization to provide support and encouragement. Since the group launched in 2018, there are more than 3,000 active members, connecting women and allies of all backgrounds in Florida and offering networking, mentoring and programming opportunities year-round.

“I constantly hear from our members their top reasons for joining are having access to inspiring content, the opportunity to grow their networks and the ability to advocate for themselves and other women. It also gave me the courage to go back to school and obtain my MBA from Stetson University,” Amy shared.

Our cast love the group and its offerings, including Latonya Johnson, a senior recruiter for campus recruitment. Latonya enjoys having a space where women of all identities are supported and empowered, which in return creates opportunities for mentorship to inspire members to discover their passions and achieve their goals.

When a member makes an accomplishment, the Women’s Inclusion Network comes together to recognize their achievements. “Celebrating the strengths of women colleagues helps build confidence in members and taking time to recognize and praise accomplishments is an amazing feeling.”

Many male cast members are also active members to support their female colleagues and friends, like LeRoy Arrington, general manager for Magic Kingdom Park merchandise. LeRoy’s commitment to inclusion is reflected each day in his openness to learning about the experiences of women in the workplace and help support women looking to take the next steps in the careers.

“Being an ally means using your voice to uplift women, creating a culture of inclusion and educating yourself about their experiences,” LeRoy said. He also hopes more male cast members join the Women’s Inclusion Network and expand their horizons. “Being able to give back by advocating, mentoring and sponsoring some amazing women has been humbling and rewarding.”

Amy, Latonya, LeRoy and all 3,000+ members are proud to be part of the Women’s Inclusion Network and find value in its year-round events and multi-cultural experiences. “Being a part of this amazing, inclusive group gives me great joy, but the best part about it is the relationships I built and the confidence I gained,” Amy said.
