Disneyland Paris Cast Members Share a First Look at Disney Adventure World

Every career milestone at Disneyland Paris marks the beginning of a bold new era, whether you’ve been in the same department for years or have transitioned from role to role over the course of your tenure. And that’s quite my story!

Dorine at the Disney Adventure World Expo

My name is Dorine, and I’m an Attraction Operator & Trainer at Disneyland Paris. My Disney journey began in 2018 when I first joined our Guest Flow teams in Disneyland Park as a temporary cast member. I helped launch the very first edition of “Pirates and Princesses Festival,” “The Lion King & Jungle Festival,” and more. In 2020, driven by a desire for growth and challenge, I moved to Walt Disney World thanks to the Cultural Representative Program for the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT.

I returned to Disneyland Paris in 2021 and, since then, I’ve worked in many attractions: from it’s a small world to Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, or Slinky Dog Zig Zag Spin!

My next career milestone came as a heart-stopping surprise. This year, one September morning, my leader called me in and told me I had been chosen to be part of the opening Guest Flow team at World of Frozen! I was speechless, excited, honored, and already imagining the magic ahead.

Fun fact: Frozen is one of my favorite Disney Animation stories! If I had to pick a character, I’d choose Anna: loyal, determined, bright, and solar. With of course a special mention to Olaf, who reminds us that with a little hope and magic, everything is possible! Plus, I also love warm hugs!

Stepping into the 3-Day Cast Life Event

When I heard about Journey Into Disney Adventure World: A Cast Life Event, my excitement skyrocketed. This three-day expo-style event followed the official announcements shared by Disneyland Paris at the press and media event on November 24 and offered over 5,000 Disneyland Paris cast members the chance to be some of the first to be immersed into the new experiences Disney Adventure World will soon present when it debuts on March 29, 2026.

As a member of the new opening team, I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity to be among the first to step into a historic transformation at Disneyland Paris.

On November 26, I arrived early at Disney Village Dôme, where the event was taking place. The venue had been transformed into a glowing preview of what Disney Adventure World will soon become. Towering artwork, merchandise products, scale models, exclusive photo opportunities, food and beverage development concepts, and more awaited a crowd of passionate cast members willing to discover it all. The excitement was contagious!

A First Look at New Merchandise, Food, and Entertainment

After a breathtaking opening moment where Queen Elsa used her powers to bring the showroom to light, I began exploring each immersive station. Everywhere I looked, creativity was bursting to life. The atmosphere felt alive with thousands of cast members exploring the event, it felt like walking into a storybook that was just waiting to be read out loud.

Early samples of merchandise, from intricate apparel inspired by Scandinavian motifs to sparkling collectibles, filled the decor in the area, including a life-size reproduction of several icons of future Disney Adventure World, where Disney characters popped by to surprise and welcome everyone.

Further along, chefs proudly presented prototypes of the flavors that will soon become favorites at the Nordic Crowns Tavern or The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. Stories can also be told through the richness of the flavors, the textures, and the carefully sourced ingredients. Everything looked incredible, and having the chance to hear from the chefs about the creative process was truly amazing!

Did you know? Our chefs tested over 30 different recipes of mashed potatoes for the Nordic Crowns Tavern menu before they were completely satisfied with the result!

At another area of the expo, models, storyboards, drones, and interactive elements of all sorts offered a glimpse of upcoming shows, such as the groundbreaking new nighttime spectacular, Disney Cascade of Lights,” which I personally can’t wait to discover!

Dorine Previewing the New Tangled Attraction at Disney Adventure World

One of the biggest highlights? A gondola from Raiponce Tangled Spin, the new attraction coming to Adventure Way, was installed by Walt Disney Imagineering teams for cast members to take photos!

With the chance to step into such a whimsical vehicle for the first time, I felt immersed in the magic of the Festival of Lanterns and pictured myself boarding this future attraction beneath a sky illuminated with floating lanterns and the iconic song “I See the Light.”

DIsney Adventure World - World of Frozen Cast Member Costumes

A Moment to Remember

The moment that truly stayed with me happened when I reached the corner of the room, where the future costumes of the operational cast members of World of Frozen were displayed. It was the first time I was seeing the design I would soon wear: the colors, the Nordic patterns, the details… I was in awe!

While I was admiring every little element, I suddenly noticed another cast member standing right beside me, just as mesmerized as me. We started talking and, to our surprise, we quickly realized that we were both going to be part of the opening Guest Flow team at World of Frozen.

My new soon-to-be teammate, Enzo, shared the same spark in his eyes. It felt like destiny, surrounded by the costumes of our future adventures as Arendelle villagers, as we prepared to venture into an incredible new chapter in our Disney journeys.

Disney Adventure World Cast Preview

Many surprises sprinkled this already-magical journey, as the exploration session was paused to let Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse take over the central stage in their brand-new outfits. Soon, an array of favorite Disney characters and Super Heroes joined the group on-stage to mark the grand finale of this unique Disney Cast Life adventure.

Standing in front of a close-to-real-life-size replica concept art of Arendelle, I could already imagine guests exploring the new land and the awe of fans seeing their favorite stories come alive. Being part of this major milestone for our resort is truly an honor and a one-of-a-kind experience that you can only find while working for Disney.

With creative minds shaping these breathtaking new stories heading soon to Disney Adventure World, I was reminded of the real reason behind our role: everything we do here is about storytelling and about bringing joy. To know I’ll play a part in welcoming guests into Arendelle for the very first time gives me chills, and it’s a truly exciting prospect as we head into a new era at Disneyland Paris.

With the grand opening approaching rapidly, I’m more ready than ever to help open the gates to a brand-new world and share with our guests an unforgettable adventure!

Make sure you don’t miss my experience on the @DLPAmbassador official Instagram account and come back from March 29, 2026, for the next part of my journey into Disney Adventure World!
