Get those ears on, charge those laptops, and get ready to apply for the 2025 planDisney Panel! That’s right, it is time for the planDisney Search to begin, and we can’t wait to hear from guests just like you who would like to apply to be a part of planDisney.
This year’s search will open at noon ET on Monday, July 8, 2024, and close promptly at noon ET on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Through this process we are looking for guests who enjoy sharing their Disney vacation planning knowledge and excellent tips with others. A master Disney vacation planner if you will. What is planDisney?
That is a great question! planDisney is a diverse group of passionate and knowledgeable guests who share their insights on planDisney.com to help other guests maximize their Disney vacations. Panelists are chosen for their ability to efficiently answer guests’ questions in one of four specialties: Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line or Disney Vacation Club. Specialist panelists even answer questions in four languages: English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
“For Guests, planDisney is a place to get information and advice from people like them who want to create memories with families and friends at a Disney Destination,” explains planDisney Panelist Jana. “For panelists, it is a rare chance as an adult to meet a new large group of friends. I expected I would meet fabulous people, but what I didn’t expect is just how important they would be in my life. Sharing our experiences, our stories, our love of all things Disney makes answering questions fun; knowing these individuals makes life magical!”
How do I become a 2025 planDisney panelist?
The search for new panelists is an application process that consists of three rounds: a series of short answer questions, a brief video submission and a virtual interview. You can begin your application adventure on Monday, July 8 at noon ET. What makes a great panelist?
Another great question and one that could garner many different responses, but at the end of the day, what we are truly searching for are individuals who are determined to share their knowledge, experience, and passion for helping other guests plan the most magical vacations possible.
“I think one of my favorite parts of being a planDisney panelist has been helping people from all over the world as they plan their next trip to the Disneyland Resort,” said Greg L. “I live a whole state away (in Arizona) from the Happiest Place on Earth so there is some extra planning that comes with having to make the trek to sunny California. However, that’s nothing compared to an international flight from a completely different country! It’s been my absolute pleasure to help our international guests as they navigate a trip to a different country.”
What is it like to be a panelist?
Being a member of planDisney is a rewarding experience in that our panelists are able to help other guests plan their Disney dream vacation. It requires dedicated time each week to answer questions and may often involve research on the panelists’ part. Their work is done from home via their own device, and they must meet a weekly quota.
“One of my favorite aspects of serving as a planDisney panelist is how it has reminded me of why I love Disney destinations so deeply,” explains panelist Lizzie. “The opportunity to hear the experiences of my incredible fellow panelists and discuss our favorite magical memories regularly reminds me that everyone’s vacations to Disney destinations are unique and that there isn’t just one way to make magic. As a panelist, I’ve even been inspired to try new experiences, visit new Disney destinations, and embrace new family traditions in The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
